Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Secret Target Strike Review
they should rename this thing the "noisey cricket". first off like another reviewer remarked, others might see a preformance problem dure to the fact that this gun is so powerful it breaks darts. any dart i put in this gun gets a split along its length right under the head, this is easily fixed with a ring of scotch tape around the dart and it lasts. once the darts are fixt this thing shoots laser straight and really far! it takes about 15pumps to get full power, the only problem is you must shoot it imediatly or it will loose pressure. fully pumped mine shoots 45+ feet straight, not cocked at an angle, and UNMODED!!!(well except for the tape) if you wait too long to fire it shoots lame and if you don't put the tape on the darts then it also shoots lame. this is as previously stated my favorite gun it cost .73 with tax at toysRus, it fits easily in my pocket, and it hits harder than most of my friends moded guns! buy 3, really even if you don't believe me please try it, it costs less than even with the tape!

Crappy little toy - Myles A. Voigt - Minneapolis, MN
First of all this is cheaper at Target (3.99). Yes I did pump it 7 times, does not work. The first pump the dart comes half way out. When I push the trigger button absolutely nothing happens. I bought a different gun along with it that uses the same darts and tried all the other darts, still does not work. Maybe the people who got one that worked were just lucky. I wasn't one of them. So I guess buying this product is risky. My advice buy a different model. The Maverick works great.
The ideal office toy! - A. Braun -
For those who work in an office where a little 'fun' is allowed, this is the toy to have. It did take a few extra pumps before the air chamber holds air, probably a little heat to help it seal. But the range is awesome! We have a small arsenal in the office and I have to say that this is the perfect toy on your desk to 'pop' a co-worker! Plus if you have kids and they have their own n-strike to get you with, this is a good single shot back at them!
Works just fine - Delamaine - Seattle Eastside
I discounted the other reviews (bad reviews) because I mainly wanted to repaint this for use with a costume. Well, I was surprised at how really tiny it is, a little bigger than a deck of cards. But it shoots just fine! We are not deadly Nerf players here, we shoot them more for fun, and my son and I took turns with this and with a single pump, launched it about 3 feet (which is fine for indoors). By pumping about 6-7 times, we got the dart to fly about 20 or 30 feet. It is a bit awkward to use, because it is so small and has no trigger-type thing; instead you push a button on the top (like where the hammer would be on a revolver). It is ultimately too small and awkward for our use with the costume I'd planned, but my son has happily taken charge of it for his own, to play with.
